Most of the buildings that we all work and live in are up to 500 years old. Epps is truly committed to preserving architectural heritage and to sympathetically restoring and updating older buildings. Through our training programmes, we ensure that our craftspeople continually pass on their understanding and skills in traditional building methods.
We authentically restore and rebuild intricate stonework, traditional brick and flint walls, timber frames and fittings, thatched roofs, decorative mouldings and period plasterwork. We also design and build new extensions or additional structures that reflect all the style, materials and values of both rural and urban traditions.
Our skilled craftsmen refurbish, renovate or conserve listed and historic buildings including churches, houses, shops and offices. They build new leisure centres, village halls and commercial premises that are in keeping with the appropriate local building traditions.
